Other wild nematode strain databases:

  • Caenorhabditis Genetics Center (CGC): This is the heart of all C. elegans research, located in Saint-Louis, Missouri, U.S.A. and financed by the NIH. The CGC collection contains thousands of frozen worm strains, mostly C. elegans mutants generated by many labs, but also a large number of wild isolates of C. elegans as well as of other nematode species.
  • Worm Systematics Resource Center: A database maintained by David Fitch, New York University, with a repertoire of wild nematode strains of several laboratories.
  • Paul De Ley Lab Collection: Access to wild nematode isolates, with an emphasis on species outside the family Rhabditidae.
